Unleashing Warframe Wonders: Dante Unbound and Beyond
In a Devstream on February 23, Digital Extremes, the mastermind behind the popular online multiplayer game Warframe, unveiled many exciting updates and plans for the future. Among the highlights were the introduction of the game's 56th Warframe, Dante, a new mission type, and insights into the rework of Warframe Inaros. Additionally, the team announced their intentions to celebrate Warframe's 11th Anniversary at PAX East next month.
Dante, hailed as a master of reality's manipulation, took center stage during the event. Players were introduced to Dante's Exalted Weapon, Noctua, a formidable tome capable of replacing any secondary weapon. With its Light or Dark Verses powers, Dante could bolster allies' strengths or unleash devastating Slash Damage upon foes. The climax of his spell combo, the Final Verse, offered allies access to Noctua or summoned Paragrimms to fight alongside them.
The unveiling of a new mission type, Deep Archimedea, added excitement to the game. This dynamic mission combined elements from three existing missions, offering players a challenging experience with promising rewards that changed weekly.
Players were also introduced to a new adversary from the Murmur faction, Gruzzling, a covetous loot hoarder whose treasures awaited opportunistic Tenno. Alongside this, fresh weaponry such as ARMATUS and Onos awaited in the Entrati Disruption mission.
The living sandstorm Warframe, Inaros, received significant enhancements through a rework, including improvements to his passive ability and core abilities like Sandstorm and Scarab Swarm.
Looking ahead, the PAX East Devstream, scheduled for March 22 at 3 p.m. ET, promises further excitement with appearances by the development team and voice actor Ben Starr. Attendees can anticipate major announcements and exclusive insights into Warframe's future, including the highly anticipated Warframe: 1999.
