Tears of Metal Open Beta Now Live
Montreal indie studio Paper Cult, known for their stylish and intense action games, has officially launched a limited-time open beta for their upcoming title, Tears of Metal. Revealed during the Triple-I Initiative showcase, this exclusive beta runs from April 10 through April 17 and is available now on Steam.
This highly anticipated action title throws players into the brutal world of Act I, where they must master their combat skills, adapt quickly, and face off against the first boss—Gilles. Victory in this battle grants access to the Challenge Shop, a mode designed to push players to their limits, whether solo or in co-op with up to three friends.
A Taste of Battle Before Full Release
Tears of Metal is expected to launch later this year, and this open beta offers a curated glimpse at what’s to come. Featuring tactical melee combat, detailed hand-crafted environments, and cooperative gameplay for up to four players, the game blends fast-paced action with rich narrative elements and intense boss battles.
