State of Play Returns This Thursday Showcasing 14 Titles
State of Play, Sony’s highly anticipated gaming broadcast, is set to return this Thursday, promising 14 thrilling updates and exclusive previews. The live broadcast will begin at 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET, offering fans a glimpse into the future of PlayStation gaming.
Sid Shuman, the Senior Director of Sony Interactive Entertainment Content Communications, revealed that the event will feature updates on both PS5 and PS VR2 titles. Additionally, it will provide a sneak peek at several PlayStation Studios games slated for release later this year.
As stated above, the 30-minute broadcast will showcase 14 different titles. Viewers and fans worldwide can tune in on May 30 at 3pm PT / 6 pm ET or catch it on May 31 at 12am CEST / 7am JST. The event will be streamed live across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok.
Sony has also issued a note of caution for those planning to co-stream or create Video-On-Demand (VOD) content from the broadcast. The presentation may include copyrighted materials, such as licensed music, beyond PlayStation’s control. Co-streamers and content creators are advised to exclude any copyrighted music from their recaps and clips to avoid potential licensing issues.
