Red Bull Kumite 2024: Canadian Qualifier Set for Battle of BC 7
Red Bull Kumite, the premier Street Fighter invitational, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Paris, France. The world’s best Street Fighter players, and for Canadian competitors, the road to Paris starts at Battle of BC 7 in Vancouver.
How to Qualify for Red Bull Kumite Paris
- The Canadian qualifier will feature a four-player, double-elimination bracket on Saturday, March 29, in Vancouver, BC.
- To earn a spot in the four-player playoff, Canadian players must compete in the Street Fighter 6 tournament at Battle of BC 7.
- The top four Canadian finishers in the tournament will qualify for the Canadian Red Bull Kumite playoff.
- The winner of the playoff will earn a trip to Paris, where they’ll compete in the Red Bull Kumite Last Chance Qualifier against elite international players, fighting for a spot in the 16-person invitational.

Key Dates for Competitors:
- Street Fighter 6 tournament registration closes: March 24 at 3 AM EDT / 12 AM PDT
- Canadian qualifier bracket: March 29
- Red Bull Kumite Paris: April 5-6
The Canadian winner will have just one week to prepare for the Last Chance Qualifier in Paris on April 5, followed by the main event on April 6, where 16 of the world’s top Street Fighter players will battle for the championship.
Last year’s champion, MenaRD from the Dominican Republic, will be defending his title, and the competition is expected to be fiercer than ever.
