PlayStation's Days of Play 2024: Game On with Epic Deals and Exciting Events!
PlayStation is gearing up for another exciting year with the Days of Play 2024 celebration, starting on May 29th. This annual event, now in its seventh year, is a global tradition designed to celebrate the vibrant PlayStation community with various activities, special offers, and exclusive content. The festivities will run until June 12, offering players a variety of ways to join in the fun and score some great deals.
Isabelle Tomatis, Vice President of Global Marketing at SIE, announced that Days of Play 2024 will include challenges, promotions on hardware and games, and new content offerings across various PlayStation services. To kick things off, PlayStation will release free new avatars for all players, commemorating popular titles featured in the PlayStation Plus lineup during the event.
PlayStation Plus Offerings
During the celebration, PlayStation Plus will unveil an array of bonus content. The June Monthly Games lineup includes titles such as "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake," "AEW Fight Forever," and "Streets of Rage 4," which will be available starting June 4. Additionally, EA Sports FC 24 from May's lineup remains redeemable until June 18. Members will also receive a Roblox Pack on June 3.
Several bonus titles will be added to the Game Catalog, Classics Catalog, and PS VR2 games. Highlights include PS VR2 titles like "Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord" and "Synth Riders," and PS2 classics such as "Tomb Raider Legend" and "Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus." New games like "Dredge" and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition" will also be available for Extra and Premium members.
Days of Play Activities
Players can participate in the Days of Play Community Challenge, working together to achieve goals and unlock exclusive rewards. Special PlayStation Stars Campaigns will feature new Digital Collectibles, with exclusive campaigns for PlayStation Plus members.
The Days of Play Cup, an esports tournament for EA Sports FC 24, offers PlayStation Plus members a chance to compete and win prizes, including Digital Collectibles, FC Points, and cash prizes. Top performers may even earn a trip to the 2025 UEFA Champions League Final in Munich.
PlayStation Offers
A range of promotions will be available through direct.playstation.com and participating retailers. Notable deals include $50 off PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition, $100 off PlayStation VR2 bundles, and discounts on select game titles. PlayStation Plus members who purchase a PS5 or PS VR2 will receive 12 months of Netflix Premium at no extra cost.
New PlayStation Plus members can save up to 30% on a 12-month membership plan while existing members can get 25% off upgrades to Extra or Premium tiers. Additionally, all members will receive 15% off content from Sony Pictures Core.
The PlayStation Gear Store will offer a 20% discount on merchandise, and the PlayStation Store will feature two weeks of deals on digital games, including 24-hour flash sales.
