Nightingale Soars to New Heights: Dive into the Epic Realms Rebuilt Update
Inflexion Games has issued Realms Rebuilt, the most extensive update thus far for Early Access title survival-crafting game Nightingale. The major update includes a new handcrafted campaign and overhauls to many of the in-game core systems.
That update brought a new storyline in which players are taken through "gravity-torn deserts" and "corrupted forests" as they look to "reignite the Crossways and unlock the path back to humanity." New to go along with this narrative, Inflexion has attached new dungeons, boss battles, weapons, and spells for players to learn.
Aaryn Flynn, CEO of Inflexion Games: "The Realms Rebuilt update is the culmination of all the invaluable feedback we've had from the community over the last several months of Early Access. We hope it feels like a whole new Nightingale journey and more immersive while retaining those core elements that the community loves about adventuring through the Realms. There is no part of the game that isn't touched by this update."
Beyond the campaign additions, the update expands building options with increased estate limits and a new Regency tileset. The crafting and progression systems have been overhauled, affording players more granular control over their character development. Combat has been enhanced in the process, adding in new abilities, enemies, and even unconventional weapons like "fish missiles."
Right now, Nightingale is out as an Early Access title on PC, both through Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a launch discount of 40% off to coincide with the update. Nightingale supports either solo or co-op with up to 5 players in exploring the Faewilds in a Victorian gaslamp fantasy setting.
