Save Lives and Feel the Rush in BancyCo's 'Neo Harbor Rescue Squad'
Veteran indie studio BancyCo, known for titles like Home, Alone With You, and Worse Than Death, has announced its eagerly anticipated fourth original IP, Neo Harbor Rescue Squad. This unique blend of action and drama, an arcade-style game, will soon be available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Steam.
Neo Harbor Rescue Squad invites players to step into the shoes of a rookie paramedic in the bustling city of Neo Harbor. The game, with its intense and challenging mechanics, combines the engaging elements of beloved medical-themed games from the Wii and DS era with a series of fast-paced, challenging minigames, delivering an experience that captures the intensity and excitement of real-life paramedic work.
The Rescue Squad has long lived in the shadow of Neo Harbor City's prestigious Fire Department, but no more! As the team's new paramedic rookie, players must respond to emergencies throughout the city, deal with complex patients, and protect the squad's reputation against the machinations of news reporter Betty Woo.
Players will use a bold, frantic triage system to juggle multiple waves of patients on each call, capturing the urgency, unpredictability, and critical decision-making required of the job in an accessible way. They'll manage several scenes simultaneously and employ special shields to buy time to strategize, all while the clock is ticking.

Players will also have to master over 50 intense (and sometimes hilarious) treatment minigames to stabilize those patients and keep them from going critical—from performing CPR to stopping nosebleeds, wrapping bandages, using a defibrillator, and so much more!
Inspired by real paramedics in Hong Kong, the game spins real stories of emergency personnel, as told to the team, into an over-the-top, dramatic tale of teamwork and rivalry. Co-founder Nancy Yeung took major inspiration from her hometown of Hong Kong for Neo Harbor City's vibrant locales—including dim sum shops, night markets, and even an amusement park during a typhoon.
Players will make impactful choices throughout the city's gorgeous visual novel scenes, which feature animated characters, expressive voices, and (of course) a smarmy-talking dolphin!
On the PlayStation 5 and Steam, players can immerse themselves in the game's vibrant visuals, presented in native 4K resolution. The PS5's DualSense™ wireless controller adds an extra layer of immersion, making the game a visual treat for players.
Fans can get a sneak peek of the game in the Official Announcement Trailer and add Neo Harbor Rescue Squad to their wishlist on Steam to be among the first to know when the game launches. Neo Harbor Rescue Squad is set to hit PlayStation and Steam in the coming months, bringing its unique blend of action and drama to players everywhere.
