Last Time I Saw You, the award-winning, hand-drawn adventure from debut developer Maboroshi Artworks and publisher Chorus Worldwide (known for titles like Coffee Talk and A Space for the Unbound), launches today across multiple platforms, including PC (Steam), PlayStation®5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch™. The game takes players on a heartfelt, Ghibli-esque journey through rural 1980s Japan, blending magical realism with an intimate, coming-of-age narrative.
The Story
Set in late-80s Japan, the game follows Ayumi, a 12-year-old boy haunted by visions of a mysterious girl in his dreams. As he goes about his everyday life—attending school, playing with friends, and enjoying video games—his world is disrupted by a devastating typhoon. This event sets him on a supernatural journey into the forbidden woods, where ancient curses, mythical creatures, and long-forgotten spirits await. Along the way, Ayumi grapples with family issues first love, and the secrets hidden within the girl from his dreams.
