Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Arrives on PC with Cross-Play and New Features
Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is set to debut on PC on May 16. It will offer players the entire game, the Iki Island expansion, and the cooperative online multiplayer Legends mode. Cross-play support is one of the most exciting features, allowing Windows PC players to team up with those on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles in Legends mode, with in-game voice chat for communication.
Additionally, the PC version introduces a new PlayStation overlay, providing access to your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and Profile. This overlay can be accessed from the in-game menu or via the "SHIFT + F1" shortcut for keyboard players. Players can earn PlayStation Trophies on PC, just like on PlayStation consoles, and the PC version also supports Achievements on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
To enjoy these features, players can sign in with their existing PlayStation Network account or create a new one. The PlayStation overlay is optional for both single-player and multiplayer experiences.
Developed by Nixxes, the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut offers a range of graphics presets to cater to various hardware configurations, ensuring optimal performance on both older and high-end PCs. Players can enhance their experience with features like NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, or Intel XeSS for improved frame rates and NVIDIA DLAA or AMD FSR 3 Native AA for enhanced image quality.
The game also boasts extensive controller support, including full compatibility with the PlayStation DualSense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers when using a wired connection.
The response from the PC community to the announcement has been overwhelmingly positive, and the teams at Nixxes and Sucker Punch are excited to bring Jin's story and the engaging multiplayer Legends mode to PC players on May 16.
