Get Your Hands on Arcane: Preorder the Ultimate Art and Making of the Emmy-Winning Series
This fall, Riot Games, Fortiche Productions, and Melcher Media are collaborating with Insight Editions to publish The Art and Making of Arcane. This comprehensive book delves into the art and narrative origins of the Emmy Award-winning animated series Arcane, based on League of Legends and created by Riot Games alongside the acclaimed animation studio Fortiche Productions. Written by Elisabeth Vincentelli, known for her work with The New York Times and ABBA Treasures, the book offers an extensive look into the creative process behind the show's first two seasons, which have garnered both critical acclaim and fervent fan support, making Arcane the first streaming series to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Series.
Set for release later this year, The Art and Making of Arcane features never-before-seen art and in-depth interviews with key figures involved in the series' creation. These contributors include Arcane co-creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee, Fortiche studio heads, and supervising directors Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord. The book also includes early designs illustrating the visual evolution of characters, breathtaking background and setting art, and interviews with over 20 key animators, writers, directors, artists, game designers, musicians, and other creators.
The Art and Making of Arcane will be available in three editions: the Artifact Edition, the Portfolio Edition, and the Standard Edition.
