Eternal Strands: STARGAZER DLC Launches Today, Bringing New Content and Smoother Gameplay
Yellow Brick Games has published Eternal Strands: STARGAZER, the game's first free DLC update. The update adds an exciting mix of new content, gameplay features, and quality-of-life updates. It will provide a more immersive and enjoyable experience for new players and old fans alike to discover the beautiful and mysterious world of Eternal Strands.
One of the most exciting features in this patch is a special co-production with Square Enix's Creative Studio III and director Yusuke Mogi, the incredible artist responsible for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. In collaboration, they've introduced us to The Astrologer, a new powerful aerial enemy who wields all three major forms of magic, presenting a fresh challenge to players. Aside from this formidable foe, players can don a brand-new armor set that marries old-school style with magical flair and three new weapon recipes that enable players to bestow their favorite equipment with breathtaking new looks.
The patch features a brand-new Starlight Cape map, introducing new vertical challenges and Elite Ember Servant minion. The area adds richness to the game's lore and invites the player to discover more secrets with the main character, Brynn, and her friends. And speaking of Brynn, she gets a new ability based on The Astrologer—a mighty drone that synergizes with her magical incantations, offering new promising gameplay possibilities.
For players who prefer to play the story but with no extreme difficulty, there is a new Story Mode to make the story more manageable. Customization is also boosted with a new dyeing system, which enables the players to change the color of their armor without affecting stats and adding a new degree of personalization. To help all players get the best out of the game, a Tips and Tricks Hub has been set up at Oria's Station, offering tips and advice to new and veteran players alike.
In addition to the new content, the update contains a large number of bug fixes and quality-of-life changes, including smoother combat and movement. Players have indicated that the changes make the gameplay more responsive and fluid, improving the overall experience.
