Electric Clash, Incendium's premiere TEKKEN tournament, is making a highly anticipated return on Saturday, November 8, 2025. This year, the event is leveling up as an official Challenger Event on the TEKKEN World Tour 2025 circuit, drawing top-tier competitors and fans from across the globe.

What's New for 2025
Electric Clash 2025 will once again be hosted at Humber College's IGNITE Student Centre in Etobicoke, Ontario. The partnership with Humber College continues to be a cornerstone of the event, offering a spacious venue with a capacity for over 400 attendees and excellent accessibility from Toronto Pearson Airport and local transit options. This collaboration also provides unique hands-on opportunities for Humber students, who can gain valuable experience in event operations and esports management.
Featured Games and Tournament Details
This year's main attractions are TEKKEN 8 (PS5) and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. (PC/Steam). Players can register for singles events in either title, with registration tiers ranging from $40 CAD (early bird) to $60 CAD (late), plus a $10 tournament entry fee. Spectators are welcome for $25 CAD.
The tournament will follow a multistage double-elimination format:
- Pools begin at noon and split into two waves.
- Top 24 starts at 4:00 PM
- Top 8 Finals kick off at 8:00 PM
TEKKEN 8 will adhere to the official TEKKEN World Tour 2025 ruleset, ensuring a world-class competitive standard.
Prizing and Incentives
Prize payouts are structured to reward both depth and excellence in competition:
- For brackets with 64 entrants or fewer, the top 3 finishers share the prize pool (70/20/10 split).
- For brackets with more than 64 entrants, the top 8 are paid out (50/20/13/7/3/3/2/2 split).
Bandai Namco is providing additional prize bonuses for TEKKEN 8:
- 1st place: $1,000 USD
- 2nd place: $500 USD
- 3rd place: $300 USD
- 4th place: $200 USD
All base prizes are paid via PayPal or EMT within 60 days, with bonus payouts following within 90 business days.
