Creature Keeper Launches May 8, 2025 – A New Monster-Taming Adventure!
Publisher Graffiti Games and developer Fervir Games have announced that their highly anticipated monster-taming action RPG, Creature Keeper, will launch on Steam on May 8, 2025.
Revealed during the MIX Spring Game Showcase, the latest trailer highlights the game’s retro-inspired world, real-time tactical combat, and diverse Creatures that players can befriend and battle alongside.
To build excitement, Graffiti Games will reveal a new Creature each day on Twitter/X, starting March 18, leading up to the game’s release.
A Kickstarter Success Story
Creature Keeper started as a Kickstarter project, raising over $50,000 from over 1,800 backers. Since then, it has gained recognition through showcases such as The MIX, Future of Play, Tiny Teams, and the 2023 OTK Games Expo, where it won the "Staff Pick" prize and received a $25,000 development grant.
After years of development, solo developer Fervir is bringing his vision to life, with Creature Keeper launching first on Steam, while a Nintendo Switch version is also in development.
Welcome to Thera – A World of Creatures and Corruption
Creature Keeper takes place in Thera, a mystical land home to fifty unique Creatures. However, a mysterious sickness threatens to bring chaos.
To restore balance, players must befriend Creatures, form a powerful team, and engage in real-time tactical combat to stop the spreading of Corruption.
