Bell Gaming Night 2025: A Perfect Way to Level up in the New Year
After attending Bell Gaming Night last year, I didn't think it could get any better—but this year proved me wrong. Held at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on January 2, 2025, it was a fantastic mix of gaming, sports, and community energy that made ringing in the new year unforgettable.
The atmosphere was electric, with people from all over the Toronto gaming scene coming together. One of the coolest activations that returned from last year? Shooting hoops on the Raptors' court! While lines can be long for this, how often do you get to play where the pros do? Plus, exploring the Raptors' locker rooms is such a unique experience—it gives fans a whole new perspective on what happens behind the scenes in basketball.
This year's vendors and activities were next level. Femme Gaming was inspiring, as always, to promote inclusivity in the gaming space. Twitch Toronto had a great setup, showcasing local streamers and allowing local Streamers the chance to commune. Then, there was the Courtside Clash competition, a Street Fighter 6 Invitational hosted by Incendium Gaming, one of my nights highlights, and which was an absolute crowd favorite... Congrats Riddles on taking the win! Watching top local players battle it out was intense and so much fun.
The event was completely sold out this year, which is a huge congratulations to the MLSE Foundation! Every single ticket sold supported their incredible work, and with Bell and OverActive Media each matching donations up to $10,000, it was amazing to see the community come together for a great cause.
Bell Gaming Night 2025 was bigger, better, and more meaningful. If this year is any sign of what's to come, I'm already counting down to the next one! Kudos to Bell, Raptors Uprising GC, and Toronto Ultra for putting it all together!
