You’ll step into the shoes of Naoe or Yasuke as you investigate some seriously creepy goings-on in the village of Akashi. The quest, called “Vision of the Realms,” kicks off with you poking around an abandoned village, piecing together the story through scattered diaries and eerie drawings. It’s not long before things get supernatural: you’re pulled into a shadowy realm called The Overlap, where danger is everywhere.
Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping experience. The Overlap, a shadowy realm, is under the relentless patrol of The Oni—a terrifying, unstoppable enemy. The Oni's abilities to teleport, track you with supernatural senses, and make hiding a matter of life or death will keep you on the edge of your seat. You’ll have to use every stealth trick in the book: ducking into bushes, dodging statues that glow with an ominous green light, and completing quick-time events to break magical seals. All the while, The Oni is stalking you, and one wrong move could mean game over.
If you break all the seals, you’ll return to reality for a final showdown with The Oni. You can fight back this time—using all your skills and weapons to finally take it down.
Complete the quest, and you’ll be rewarded with some fantastic Dead by Daylight-themed loot: a trinket, a special amulet with a damage reduction perk, and a banner for your hideout. There’s also a fun crossover with indie favorite Balatro, where you can team up with friends to grab some powerful, one-of-a-kind legendary items.
